It is located about 7 km from Qus, and about 1 km from the western highway. 

The church has three altars:  the middle one in the name of St. George, the northern one in the name of St. Mary, and the southern one in the name of St. Mina. The church serves about 260 families from the following areas: Al-Ma’arri Al-Nasari, Al-Ma’arri Al-Balad, Nagaa Salem, the Hijaza Bridge, Al-Nosrania, and Al-Harjah. 

It provides specialized services to the village of Shanhour, such as Sunday school classes, and Rifqa and Verena service for women. In November 2021, a decree was issued to rebuild the church.
